My Bio
About Me:
"You are most like Frodo Baggins, Son of Drogo

You have a strong personal morality. You are committed to relationships and their growth. You tend to be an idealist, believing the best of the world around you. Time alone is important and solitary activities refresh you. You have a tendency to introspection. While providing compassion and being considerate, you may have the tendency of being soft-hearted or even "too emotional" You like keeping your options open. Closure is probably not one of your strong suits.
Traits: Empathic, benevolent, looking to the future. On the dark side you could be sadistic.
The Orcs display the evil side of this personality with their lengthy torture methods."

Current Residence: Brooklyn, NY

Favourite Bands / Musical Artists
Tom Waits

Firstly, thanks to all of those who have provided feedback.  I have read it and thoroughly appreciated it, but have been so harassed as of late that I just haven't gotten around to responding to each (which I intend to do). Why am I harassed?  Family matters aside, I've been working tirelessly -- well, not tirelessly, I'm exhausted, how about...perseveringly? determinedly? insomniasiacly?...on my book.  The storyboarding requires a lot of time and thought, and the pictures, of course, even more so. Second day and 44 page views, woo!  This journal writing is going to be a challenge for me -- documentation falls under the general category of Keeping Track of Things, and I am morally opposed to keeping track of things.  It also goes against my blog-hating nature (cesspools of narcissism, they are).  Nevertheless, I'm giving it a shot on the advice of some well-admired and successful digital friends, who've assured me that this is a vital aspect of the venture. I thought I'd mention my use of media.  While I sometimes work in pencil and colored pencil (some pieces rendered in such will be uploaded when I get back to NYC and my scanner), I

Mounds of illustrations are piling up on my shelves, under my bed, in the basket of my (until recently) underused bicycle.  Now seems as good a time as any to share my work with the world -- before I end up buried under it all!  I am a Brooklyn resident, 3 years out of NYU (though I majored in education and psychology, not art). I am an aspiring children's book illustrator.  I work mostly in pen and ink and marker. And thus my introduction is concluded.
